Paul van de Logt is an international economist, specialised in energy and climate questions. Currently, Paul works as a senior advisor in the climate team, which is part of the department for Inclusive Green Growth of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Hague. In this position, his main focus is on private climate finance. Prior to this position, Paul worked on EU cooperation in the field of energy and climate policies. Before forming his specific focus on Energy and Climate, Paul worked at both the Dutch embassy in Beijing and Kabul for several years, addressing respectively Economic Affairs and Development Cooperation. Paul’s academic background is in Economics, in which he obtained a master’s degree from the Radboud University, Nijmegen. In addition, Paul more recently graduated from VU University Amsterdam as a Master of Science in Environmental Resource Management.
