For the third and last time this year MoMo4Climate is calling on you to submit your innovative and sustainable business plan and win € 25.000.

The challenge

We challenge you to send us a proposal that can attract private investment for climate mitigation or adaptation in a developing country. The deadline for this third call is 17 September. You can find the form for submitting your proposal here. During the finals in November a panel of experts will choose the winners of € 25,000 for further developing their business.

A special opportunity is offered for entrepreneurs in Indonesia. This year, in cooperation with the Dutch embassy in Jakarta, one of the winners will be selected from the project proposals that are to be located in Indonesia. The other winner will be selected from the regular proposals.

How does it work?

All proposals will be reviewed on the viability of the business case, the potential to mobilise private investments, the potential for up-scaling, and the contribution it makes to climate change mitigation or adaptation by a panel of experts. The panel offers advice to make your business proposal more investable and awards the two winners with the needed support to implement and scale up your idea.

Proponents of proposals with particular potential will be given advice on the requirements and possibilities for submission to funds, and on opportunities for support in capacity building, technical assistance or business case development.

So, do you have an innovative plan for climate intervention in a developing country that can attract private investment? Submit it now!

And don't forget to have a look at the requirements and evaluation criteria here.

The Mobilising More initiative screens business proposals from organisation to identify instruments that have potential to drive private climate finance investment in developing countries to scale. Below are shown the shortlisted proposals that benefit from our input and guidance to make them investor ready.
